An update to a story we brought you earlier this week: We now know the identity of the woman who was rescued by Springfield Fire Department’s Water Rescue Team after falling into ice at Lakeshore Apartments Sunday morning.
It was former Missouri State University softball coach Holly Hesse.
Wednesday she met with the team of firefighters who rescued her and her two dogs from the ice to thank them for saving her life.
