Ozark County prosecutors have charged a woman with murder after the death of a man who was thrown from a car she was driving.
Court documents say 50-year-old Shannon Collins was originally charged with domestic assault, but prosecutors upgraded the charges to second-degree murder after the victim, Mark Ault, died from his injuries.
Ault was thrown from a car that Collins was driving on State Highway 160, near Gainsville, on June 12.
She is being held in the Ozark County Jail.
