Woman from Kimberling City Arrested, Accused of Attempting to Steal Graceland

In a wild turn of events, a woman from Kimberling City is in custody after allegedly trying to fraud the family of Elvis Presley into gaining ownership of Graceland.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed charges against 53-year-old Lisa Findley, accusing her of the crime.

According to investigators, Findley used several aliases posing as employees at Naussany Investments & Private Lending, LLC. She claimed that Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, had borrowed nearly four-million dollars from the fictitious company, and that money was owed back.

She also allegedly threatened to put Graceland up for auction, at which point the Presley family filed a lawsuit.

Authorities say Findley then filed fake court documents in response, then claimed it was a Nigerian identity thief was responsible for the fraud.

Findley is charged with mail fraud and aggravated identity theft, and faces up to 20-22 years in prison if found guilty.
