What We Know: A woman from Springfield is seriously hurt after trying to stop a car that started rolling out of a driveway.
What It Means: The Highway Patrol says it happened around 8:30 Thursday morning on Barrington Avenue, about a mile and a half west of Springfield.
Troopers say a Toyota Prius started rolling from the driveway. The 40-year-old woman got behind the car to try to stop it, but was run over.
She was taken to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries.
