Springfield Police says the suspect in a Friday night shooting is dead after a standoff at a house on Link Avenue.
Police surrounded the house after a woman was shot during a domestic disturbance.
The woman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The suspect was found dead from a self-inflected gunshot wound by officers after they served a search warrant.
