The last part of the Kansas Expressway project in Springfield is almost finished.
The last leg of the project extends Kansas Expressway from Plainview Road south to Cox Road.
Crews are currently paving in the area of Cox Road.
Assistant administrator of the Greene County highway department Mark Webb says the project is expected to be completed in September.
