Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Man Accused of Grabbing a Woman

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who allegedly grabbed and threatened a woman at an area cemetery.

The victim told investigators that the man approached her Tuesday at the Ava Cemetery and asked for money.

Reports say she told the man to get a job, at which point he got angry and grabbed her.

She was able to get away from the man and escape in her car before things could escalate further.

The victim described the man as a white male, 5’10” and roughly 30-years-old, with reddish-brown hair and a goatee.
