Prominent Springfield plastic surgeon, Dr. Bahrat Shah, has plead guilty to a 4th degree misdemeanor assault charge over an incident with an Uber Driver who is hearing impaired.
On May 7th at 12:30 a.m., Dr. Shah called 911 to complain about his Uber Driver not pulling over when asked. Dr. Shah claims he did not know that his driver was deaf. The Uber driver accused Dr. Shah of trying to choke him.
The judge has suspended a jail sentence, but has required Dr. Shah to take a class and pay a fine.
How will this influence him to not do this again? He deserves the type of sentence a non physician would receive!!
