A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting an employee at Walmart in West Plains.
Police say the worker confronted Cooper Clayton about stealing.
After the assault, Clayton drove away from police and then ran into a wooded area.
Howell County deputies used a K-9 to find and arrest Clayton.
The Walmart employee had a minor injury to his hand.
